We are seeking a Remarketing Manager who will be responsible for the disposal and alternative sourcing of vehicles concerning the company fleet rotation plan. The execution of the project will fall in line with the strategic marketing efforts through direct-to-dealer, auctions, and online platforms.

Job Duties:

  • Identity, market, and build a client base of dealers within assigned territories in the U.S. to increase sales and residual performance on vehicles through the direct sale channel.
  • Build working relationships with clients from all markets in which Europcar Mobility Group participates.
  • Ensure cars are being sold and paid for promptly to decrease interest and depreciation expenses associated with the vehicles.
  • Manage and represent the Europcar Mobility Group brand of vehicles at local auctions through in-person and online participation.
  • Meet monthly and yearly sales KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Remarketing team to maximize profit and residual values on vehicles concerning budget expectations.
  • Identify potential cars to buy through alternative sourcing methods, which include auctions, fleet companies, wholesalers, and dealerships. Work with the Director of Remarketing and VP of Fleet to assess residual value and depreciation of the vehicles.
  • Ensure the company is constantly partaking in new ventures and sources, including online auctions, buyer/dealer social media, and websites.
  • Building and maintaining the Fox and Europcar brand awareness in the U.S. remarketing industry.
  • Participate in auctions; travel up to 3 times per week to attend auctions in different cities, states, and regions.
  • Correspond with auctions on ways to best promote our sales in local areas, audit expenses, and establish lane preferences and local auction marketing strategy.
  • Show the ability to make data-driven decisions and analyses without oversight.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum two years experience as a manager or supervisor
  • Previous experience as a manager or supervisor with a rental car company preferred
  • Minimum two years of sales experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent managerial/supervisory skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to evaluate employee and customer needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and discretion
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks, as well as resolve recurring and some irregular problems

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
