Job Description

The RN is responsible for nursing tasks following the established standards of nursing practice to ensure the quality of nursing care. The Nurse consistently identifies patient and family educational needs develops effective teaching methods, evaluates the effectiveness of the interventions, and monitors and evaluates the effects of patient medication. Registered Nurses at the Arbour Hospital are part of a valuable team that helps manage safety, infection control, and general patient care.

Key Responsibilities include:

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts
• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Physical Fitness – Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must comfortable working with patients in acute psychiatric distress
