MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• State of Michigan Registered Nurse License
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
• BCLS Certification
• Proficient in use of Centricity, QuickMar, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills

90-DAY REQUIREMENTS

• Achieve Level 1 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) endorsement
• Completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) seminar provided by the agency, with ability to apply and preform TCI techniques

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise assigned License Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Supervise the day to day nursing activities performed by lower level nursing personnel; including but not limited to training, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining per WHS policy and State laws.
• Facilitate and assist medical staff with providing quality health care to clients.
• Apply knowledge of WHS programs and services, including applicable licensing and contract regulations and collaborative entities.
• Explain the need for and arrange laboratory tests for clients; may provide phlebotomy services.
• Monitor client patient test results and review lab and diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate effectively with all staff and agencies to ensure clients have health and medical needs met.
• Supervise quality control checks on equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with protocol.
• Provide client and staff education specific to normal growth, development and treatment needs.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Create and maintain a professional, safe, supportive and therapeutic environment.
• Review client health complaints and processes appropriately.
• Maintain and monitor timecards and All-Purpose Leave requests for assigned staff.
• Conduct scheduled team meetings with assigned staff.
• Demonstrate proficiency in WHS technology platforms and applications.
• Participate/attend and complete all required contractual, licensing and agency training successfully.
• Function as a mandated reporter, as required by Michigan Child Protection Law.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
