San Ramon Regional Medical Center began serving residents of the San Ramon Valley and its surrounding communities in 1990. Located on a hillside overlooking the valley, we are a 123-bed, acute-care hospital, primary stroke center, and a cardiac heart surgery hospital. Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Uses unique knowledge and skills to contribute to perioperative patient outcomes that are defined as observable or measurable physiological, psychosocial and psychological responses to perioperative nursing interventions. Communicates and collaborates with surgeon(s) and the anesthesiologist continuously regarding the patient’s condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Obtains supplies for individual cases, ensures that operating room equipment is available and functioning, and that all appropriate needs of the patient and surgical team are met. When on-call must arrive to the Hospital within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Minimum Experience/Skills: 2 years recent experience in Orthopedic Surgeries

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:

  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) certification
  • Certification in specialty preferred

Pay Range: $1.00 - $200.00

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
