Registered Nurse, Long Term Care Job at GLC Group
Job Description:
GLC On-The Go is seeking a RN to work a contract at a Long Term Care Facility in Livingston, MT
Schedule: 12 hour Days
Contract Length: 8-16 weeks
Pay Package: $19hr. /$60OT /$1,085 Stipend
Requirements:
· Must have a valid and current Licensein the state you are applying for
· Must have 1 year experience in the setting applying for
· Active BLS/CPR Certification (in person for some facilities)
· Must have Covid Vaccination or exemptionwhere applicable
Job Duties:
- Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
- Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
- Update patient records in a confidential manner
- Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
- Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
- Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
- Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
