The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for a Lead RN for a 24-hour Access Center in Osceola, IA.

Position details

• This position will provide general nursing care and leadership, working collaboratively with physicians, psychiatric providers, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Location Hours: 24-hour facility, 7 days a week, year-round, to assess and stabilize people in crisis.
• Schedule: 3, 12-hour shifts per week. 2 on the floor, 1 for administrative duties, unless covering a shift for a staff member.
• Supervision: This person will supervise the following roles – RNs, Direct Care Staff, and Peer Support staff
• Experience: 1-3 years of behavioral health nursing background and supervisory experience

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license recognized by State of Iowa Board of Nursing
• Graduate of an accredited program
• Knowledge of nursing care in accordance with regulations and practices established by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Consistent demonstration of a team approach to care.
• Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and in speaking.
• Willing to become computer literate.
• All employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to employment or must request an exemption no less than 10 days prior to start date.
