West Midtown Medical Group, located in mid-town Manhattan, is a Joint Commission-accredited diagnostic and treatment center providing addiction treatment and full-service primary medical care in an out-patient setting. Our comprehensive, patient-centered addiction treatment services utilize medication assisted therapy (methadone, buprenorphine, vivitrol) in conjunction with individual and group counseling.

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and dedicated RN to join our experienced team of medical, nursing, and counseling professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and triaging patients.
• Obtaining and recording patient vital statistics.
• Administering injectable vaccines, respiratory treatments, and medications, including methadone and other directly observed medications.
• Maintaining accurate medication records.
• Implanting and reading TB skin tests.
• Performing phlebotomy and collection of other specimens.
• Performing ECGs.
• Providing patient health education.
• Assisting medical staff.

Requirements

• Current NYS license to practice as an RN.
• Certification in Basic Life Support.
• Two years’ experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of an integrated team in a fast-paced environment.
• Sensitivity to the complex needs of patients in treatment for substance use disorder.
• Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) preferred.
• Work schedule of Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm, with participation in Saturday rotation (Saturday hours 7:00 am-12:00 pm).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
