Pottstown Hospital is a 219-bed, acute care hospital offering an extensive range of services, including inpatient and outpatient, medical, surgical, diagnostic, emergency care, a nationally recognized Cancer Center as well as primary care, family practice, and pediatric offices. With 260 physicians representing 40 medical specialties, we serve the healthcare needs of residents in Pottstown and surrounding areas.
Our Emergency Room, is the second busiest in Montgomery County, seeing more than 40,000 patients a year. We're 1,150 healthcare professionals strong, and our team of physicians, nurses, staff, and volunteers is focused on exceeding expectations while delivering compassionate, safe, quality care.

Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient (direct/indirect) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Hours: 7pm-7:30am/Every 3rd weekend/Every Other Holiday

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience
- One year of Psych Experience Preferred
- Successful completion of Group Training Module within 2 years of hire
- Successful completion of Physical Assessment Module within 1 year of hire
- Successful completion of Geriatric Depression Screening Module within 6 months of hire
Certification and Licensure
- PA Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- ACLS Required
- CPI Required within 1 year of hire
- Cerification in psychiatric nursing preferred
Required Skills

- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
