The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) works with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage the nursing department with high professional and personal standards. The ADON works with the DON to plan, organize, coordinate and direct the nursing functions for professional and nonprofessional nursing personnel to ensure the highest quality of care is provided in a cost effective manner with the residents in the facility. This is done in an efficient and timely manner with consideration for both health care and legal responsibilities of the residents, the facility and the employees. The ADON works with the DON to exercise administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for nursing service objectives, implements policies and procedures, coordinates nursing function, activities, and nursing care, as well as providing oversight and supervision to the nursing staff, and their training and competency.

Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
