Featuring two lakes with fishing docks, walking paths, a natural area for picnicking and a new Rehab Center and Exercise Pool Complex. As a team member with Lakeview Terrace, you will provide services to our residents that call LVT home.

Purpose:

Assess medical needs of residents and assure that necessary care and services are being provided.

Essential Duties:

  • Direct and supervise functions and personnel in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
  • Assure that staffing levels are adequate at all times to meet regulatory standards and the needs of all residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of care and assure all physicians, families or surrogates are notified of any resident condition changes.
  • Administer medications, performed prescribed treatments and document all necessary information as needed and assure that all physicians orders are followed as written.
  • Respond promptly to all emergency calls and other requests in the Community for medical services and document all changes and pertinent resident information.
  • Assist with medical records filing as time permits.
  • Handle resident or personal grievances.
  • Arrange for home health care and services, if needed, upon resident s discharge from HCC.
  • Secure and store properly all toxic/hazardous substances utilized in the work area. Be aware of and utilize proper procedures in disposal of all such substances.
  • Attend all required in-services and trainings.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualification:

  • Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
  • CPR certified.
  • For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.
  • Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.

Salary Rate:

$29.00 - Negotiable
