We are currently seeking kind and dependable RN's to come join our team. Our facility presently has full time positions available afternoons and midnights.

*Our nurses work a rotating schedule that includes an every other weekend rotation. All nurses on their weekend off get to enjoy three day weekends.

Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

May work beyond assigned working hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.

Meets general health requirements according to facility policy, including medical and physical exams and checking immunity status to various infectious diseases.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and perform other common physical movements as needed for the position.

All employees shall work reasonable amounts of overtime upon request. Job Description Counts controlled drugs with off-going/on-coming Primary Nurse.

Gives and receives report with off-going/on-coming nurses.

Medication pass including tube feedings, aerosol treatments/ accu-checks/BP monitoring along with T,P,R’s.

Communicates with CNA’s regarding their questions and concerns.

Monitors, supervises, and recommends appropriate disciplinary action (including giving one on one education) to the CNA’s throughout shift.

Medicare assessments, charting and documentation; To include but not limited to, behavior tracking, PRN medications with reason given and resident response, resident refusal to take medications, charting by exception, updating plan of care and kardex, etc. This information is to be communicated with the Charge Nurse and/or House Supervisor.

Communication with doctors and the interdisciplinary team throughout the course of the day as indicated.

Notes orders by putting in the following places–MAR or treatment book, kardex, memo’s to other departments and the 24 hour report.

Reviews resident/staff concerns and follow through as needed.

Assists with answering phones and speaking with residents’ responsible party/family.

Assists the Charge Nurse with admissions.

Coordinates with the Charge Nurse/House Supervisor to assure all assigned treatments are completed in a timely manner. Complete all treatments excluding those assigned to the Charge Nurse.

Monitors dining room during meal-times.

Completes hydration assessments as indicated.

Re-stocks medication and treatment carts. Assures cleanliness of the carts. Reorders medications as needed, and monitors expiration dates and destroys as needed.

Gives report throughout the day to the Charge Nurse/House Supervisor.

Turns critical residents over to the Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Charge Nurse.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pay: $33.90 - $35.90 per hour
