Please Note: Full-time and part-time positions are available. Full time employees work 30-40 hrs. per week. Part-time positions usually work 25 to 29 hours. Please tell us about your availability! (We can be flexible if you can be consistent.) Ability to work evenings and weekends is preferred. Our Outlet Store is open Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Sundays.

OBJECTIVE:
The Recycling Associate will primarily work in a warehouse environment sorting and breaking down items into recyclable materials. The Recycling Associate may come in contact with external vendors and will need to provide excellent customer service displaying an “Attitude of Gratitude” in order to support the mission of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Remove unsold product from sales bins and break down items into recyclable materials.
  • Sort recyclable materials into metals, plastics, cardboard, etc.
  • Check conveyor belts to ensure no recyclable materials are missed.
  • Ensure all recyclable materials are placed into their proper bins following recycling guidelines.
  • Ensure all recycle and trash bins do not become over filled.
  • Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers and fellow employees.
  • Cross-train in other departments/areas and act as back-up for other areas as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A pre-employment drug screen is required for this position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous recycling, production, or warehouse experience is helpful.
  • Have a high attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
  • Able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to 8 hours per day.
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs, use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
  • Able to occasionally work weekends, evenings and holidays with overtime as necessary.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers.
