Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist I, you will be responsible for high volume interviewing and recruiting support nationwide for positions ranging from security, housekeeping and laundry, operations, behavioral health, case management and other support staff. You will also operate as a true business partner and work closely with hiring managers to build effective sourcing strategies to identify, recruit, and hire the best talent for our organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience, salary requirements, availability, and interest for roles
  • Interview candidates as requested by hiring managers and all finalist candidates as selected
  • Provide verbal or written feedback regarding candidates to hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Ensure that all recruiting processes are documented, consistent and efficiency
  • Sourcing for strong talent using various methodologies to build a pipeline of potential hires
  • Culture ambassador who embodies our core values internally with teammates and externally with potential candidates
  • Partner with teammates to gain insight into the business to attract the right talent
  • Collaborate with external recruiting resources as needed to expand our candidate pool
  • Maintain candidate databases via our Applicant Tracking System (ADP)
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Craft and send recruiting emails
  • Participate in local and non-local events as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Intermediate level of proficiency and above with MS Office Suite products
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ADP
  • Knowledge of UKG is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in sourcing and recruitment tools which include social media, job boards, networking, community involvement, university relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and to build alignment to business strategy and priorities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a strict level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work nights and weekends. We operate 24/7/365.
  • Ability to travel on short notice (May require travel up to 30% of the time)

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business, or related field, preferred.
  • 6 months experience in a recruitment/sales or relevant role
  • A successful track record of sourcing and filling positions in a fast-paced environment through a variety of sourcing techniques such as LinkedIn, resume mining, job boards, networking and recruiting events, etc.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.

Physical Demands

The employee may be required to stand, walk, twist, turn, bend, climb, lift, or kneel. Occasional lifting to 40Ibs may occur.
