Position Summary:

The receptionist interacts with deliveries, clients, ancillary health care providers, and members of the general public who telephone NationsBenefits or come to the Company's offices and ensures that these contacts are routed to the appropriate department.

This role will answer non-routine correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information. S/he will deal with a diverse group of external callers and visitors, and internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions Of The Position:

  • Responsible for professionally answering telephones and routing telephone calls.
  • Responsible for receiving referrals from providers' offices in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Responsible for assisting customer service by greeting and routing clients.
  • Responsible for assisting other departments as necessary.
  • Responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations affecting Company.
  • Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance, and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company.
  • Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
