This is an entry level position but an extremely important position, you will be in charge of scheduling, answering phones, checking in and out clients, cleaning and helping groomers when needed. You will be handling dogs of ALL breeds and sizes and temperaments, if you have confidence issues with handling senior, large, or slightly aggressive dogs, please do not apply.

We need a well-rounded person that can change roles and adapt quickly, please have great customer service skills. You will be the face customers see when they show up and leave so you must be fun, exciting, and professional. Go getters and self-starters will succeed with us, you will not be micromanaged here so it's important for you to be self motivated. Pay structure is based on YOU. How effective and useful you make yourself pays off with us, you will start by learning the ropes but as time progresses and as you become independent you will receive tips from the groomers, you can even get tips and your own clients if you are motivated. Our current groomers assistants make between 16$ and 20$ an hour or more on average. Bonuses are also available.

This will be your ideal job if you want to build a career in the pet industry or just want to push yourself to be more then a nameless employee. If you want a career, you will need to work for it, if you want a job there are lots of Walmart and Target jobs.

Heres what we are NOT looking for,

someone who's looking to play with dogs all day, this is a small company everyone here has a job to do and a purpose, if you are not ready for the responsibility of a team member then dont apply.

Someone unreliable, if you can't wake up in the morning ,or are constantly "sick" this job isn't for you. If you take lots of vacations or need banker holidays off, don't apply please. Again, every employee is important, valuable and needed to do their job.
