Reading Interventionist Job at Franklin Township Public Schools
Job Description
Reading Interventionist will help teachers & staff address & support the needs
of struggling learners in the targeted core academic area of reading.
The interventionist will identify & provide appropriate intervention strategies based on student need, participation on the building data team, analyze data & set measurable goals
for student groups or individualized interventions for students & more.
Requirements:
- Reading Specialist Certification & TOSWD or TOH
- Or Secondary ELA (6-12) & TOSWD or TOH
- Reading Specialist Certification preferred
- Wilson Reading System or Orton Gillingham Certification preferred
- Effectiveness in incorporating current research methodologies & instructional best practices regarding student performance & achievement
- Success providing support during the implementation of interventions
- Success providing support & modeling of quality record keeping practices.
