Re-entry Counselor Job at Everglades University
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Responsibilities:
- Utilize drop reports to target the specific population of drop and drop/reentry students.
- Make daily calls with energy and enthusiasm to withdrawn students to assist them in returning to finish their degree program.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with withdrawn students.
- Ensure students re-entering have taken all the necessary steps to re-enroll.
- Provide re-entry students an additional resource to assist in finalizing their degrees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree required; Master degree preferred
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong keyboarding and basic computer skills.
- High sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to connect with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Must have a general knowledge of the higher education industry.
Work Schedule:
Work Location: One location- Boca Raton, FL Campus
This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability.
Your schedule will consist of 3 early days (8:30am - 5:30pm), 2 late nights (11am to 8pm), and 2 Saturday's out of each month. Friday and Saturday schedule is always (8:30am - 5:30pm). When you work on Saturday's, you will be off Friday, work Saturday and off Sunday. The other weekends you will be off Saturday and Sunday.
