Job Description:
Entegris/CMC Materials is looking for a technically strong Quality Systems Technician for our Hillsboro, OR facility! The chosen candidate will work in a team environment to support production, shipping, and customer teams through the qualification of shipments, finished goods, and raw materials. The Quality Systems Technician will work closely with the Manufacturing, Customer Quality, and Engineering teams to sustain day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Quality data review and approval of finished goods, shipments
- Generating the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) report to Customers
- Quality control/monitoring of manufacturing data (Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) processes)
- Setup and verify new items, tools, CoA templates, and Customer sites in the system.
- Supporting Customer Quality teams for testing/verification of CoA
- Recording/Login and verifying incoming materials and test data.
- Supporting research and development (NPI/R&D) in data and product verification
- Keep Shipping/Production coverage 24/7 by running reports/verification in a timely manner
- Support related teams' investigations of customer quality issues, new raw material characterizations, and process improvements.
- Identify problems and potential solutions to solving issues in both maintenance and production as they arise, through SPC or other data analysis
- Look for opportunities to improve Quality/Manufacturing data, time, and waste stream resources.
- Lead, train, and certify of the Quality Technician team.
- Write and maintain reports, work instructions, and procedures.
Skills:
Technical – Demonstration of technical knowledge to give to Quality System operations; strong mathematics skills; experience with SPC basic statistical methods; troubleshoot with manufacturing systems and metrology; experience with MES/ERP system; ability to summarize and analyze data.
Behavioral - Demonstrates initiative; self-motivation and focus; flexible, adaptable to change and shifting priorities; quality minded with strong customer focus; ability to work independently as well as a team contributor; good written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and accuracy with tried work ethics.
Computer - Intermediate, experience with Manufacturing Systems/Software statistical software packages a plus (i.e., Minitab, JMP); data entry and spreadsheet development.
Qualifications: Education: BS or higher in Scientific, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of two years of Quality Systems experience. Experience within the semi-conductor industry preferred.
Technical: Experience preferred with Manufacturing systems (MES, LIMS, Oracle, SAP
Schedule - Sunday through Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays, 5:30am-6pm.
