SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Works under the supervision of the quality manager and has the following responsibilities: ensure compliance of paperwork to ASC's quality policies, compiles data, prepares reports, performs clerical duties for quality control staff.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In charge of generation, organization, and timely completion of ASC's Quality Binders for pressure vessels.
• Updates quality binders with all relevant paperwork.
• Verifies that forms are fully completed and in compliance with ASC’s processes.
• Coordinates with engineering, weld department, quality department and third-party inspectors.
• Prepares for and participates in internal and third-party audits.
• Carries out updates to various ASC documents in accordance with given instructions and closes the relevant Change Notices (CNs).
• Dispatches quality inspectors via radio.
• Performs daily follow ups and reminders to shop staff (including field personnel) to regarding compliance with ASC quality standards.
• Performs follow ups and reminders with engineering and management regarding open NCR’s and Change Notices.
• Expected to demonstrate compatibility with ASC s stated Team Values that include working
• safely, having a positive attitude, leading by example, showing an eagerness to learn, being a team player, working efficiently, and focusing on producing quality work.
• Performs a variety of other duties for the Quality Department as instructed by management.
• ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
• Reports to Quality Control Manager. Works with a team of quality personnel and with various
• departments to ensure compliance to ASC s policies. Coordinates with vendors and auditors.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of general clerical experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment and being familiar with Quality Control
• concepts and terminology strongly preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
