ABB OPTICAL GROUP, one of the nation’s leading distributors of optical products, is hiring team oriented, career minded individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment as one of our Quality Control Technicians in our Digital Eye Lab.
As a Quality Control Technician, we will train you to:
- Learn the manufacturing process for ophthalmic eyewear.
- Inspect lenses as part of quality control.
- Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross train in additional areas around the lab.
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be eligible for:
- Pay based on experience plus shift differential for second and third shift, full time employees.
- 3 weeks of paid time off per year, which increases as you grow with ABB.

- Up to $5,250 of tuition reimbursement per year

To become a Quality Control Technician, you will need to:
- Be a team player with a positive attitude who strives to perform at your best daily.
- Have attention to detail, accuracy, repetition, and fine motor skills.
- Be able to see and manipulate small parts and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
- Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.
- At least one year of experience in a similar position for an optical manufacturing lab or two years of experience in a similar position for other industries assembling items with delicate/small parts preferred but not required.

- 2nd shift - Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm starting at $15.50/hour ($15.50 + $2 differential *full time only*)
