Duties and responsibilities
- Train all personnel in the QA/QC department to make sure they can perform their job function.
- Determine Root Cause Analysis for Out of Specification Occurrences (customer complaints)
- Develop offsets for discontinued or out-of-stock raw materials.
- Assist in the Research and Development (R&D) of new and modified products.
- Assist in Bill of Material (BOM) creation for accuracy of each finished good produced
- Maintain records of all Bronner Raw Material and Component specifications for product Build Assemblies.
- Offer real time assistance and solutions for any deviation of the quality process.
- Create Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for the department.
- Meet with vendors to make sure there is a clear specification for any product we purchase.
- Approves all new raw material and components (QC Inbound).
- Track vendor performance on a continual basis
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry (or similar discipline)
- 2 years ERP user experience (Quick Books)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measures.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several specific variables in generally standardized situations.
- Knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, & ERP software.
- Ability to provide accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
