QC Chemist
Job Responsibilities

• Assist with Batch Approval and troubleshooting

• Review formulas prior to compound manufacturing commencement

• Assist with R&D as needed

• Assist QA/QC Manager as needed

• Assist in Developing Finished Goods Specifications

• Laboratory equipment calibration

• Sample and analyze incoming raw materials to ensure the materials are within establispecification

• Maintain records for samples of raw materials

• Documentation control

• Assist in Cleaning & sanitization requirements

• Maintain all batch representative samples of all the finished products

• Submit batch representative samples and finished products for Micro testing in a timely manner, review reports upon arrival

• Analyze finished products to ensure correct specifications

• Assist with & recommend sanitization inspections (in compounding area & production line)

• Willingness to learn processes and contribute to possible amendments of processes

• Communicate with compounding, R&D, purchasing and Q.C line inspectors, and raw material vendors in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree (Chemistry/ Biology) or 3 years experience

• Experience with Personal Care products preferred

• Good Communication Skills.

• Good Mathematical Skill Set.

• Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) Knowledge Preferred.

• Manufacturing experience with batch adjustment technology.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory testing.

• Knowledge of Quality Testing preferred (including Fill Weights,Torque, Color/Odor Appearance comparison with established standard)

• Highly Versed in Microsoft LLC
• A TEAM PLAYER!
