Firefly Children & Family Alliance is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for performing critical functions for the agency to ensure that all client service is accurately documented and billed.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Monitoring (100%)

  • Complete accurate quality audits of program records.
  • Provide timely feedback and reports to program Directors regarding critical documentation errors and needed corrections.
  • Assist in the development of Corrective Action Plans related to deficiencies identified in the record review process.
  • Participate in the Performance and Quality Improvement functions of the agency, as indicated and requested.
  • Provide required or needed training and feedback to staff regarding services.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you need to have the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge and ability to use Access, Excel, internet and e-mail programs
  • Experience in working with a diverse population
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
  • Organized, detail oriented and dependable
  • Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. Some evenings and/or Saturdays may be required
  • Pleasant, polite and positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under stressful circumstances
