Assistant to join our team at the Mendota, IL facility.
This position will assist production and quality departments on selected processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Release finished products from the quarantine state to the finished goods state after review of product samples and batch yields ensuring they are within acceptable tolerances- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure accurate completion production records.
- Transfer ingredients and finished products between the barcoding/batching system and the ERP (inventory/accounting) system, completing adjustments as needed to reflect actual usage.
- Perform ongoing inventory transaction investigations, inventory tracing and cycle counts of product as required, to ensure accurate ingredient and product traceability.
- Process and log samples of incoming ingredients
- Support and partake in other Quality and Food Safety (QFS) department activities as required.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma (or equivalent) with experience in a manufacturing and/or quality control environment. Ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a changing/fast-paced environment, with solid computer, mathematical and organizational skills.
