LOCATION: NE Portland, OR
SALARY: $20.67-25.00 per hour, DOE
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 4:00 am-2:30 pm or 2:30 pm-1:00 am, Temporary-to-Hire or Direct Hire

INDUSTRY: Manufacturing

THE ROLE
The Punch Press Operator will operate and set-up a variety of Punch Press Machines and other equipment to achieve parts production goals. This position is responsible for making mechanical adjustments and program adjustments on machines as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, oversee, and troubleshoot company Press Machines
• Load and unload coils of steel; operate and clean stock straighteners
• Perform quality assurance checks on parts
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years technical training plus 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing setting
• Basic blueprint reading and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
