Exodus Recovery Inc. is a California mental health agency providing quality mental health services across the entire spectrum of care for adults and offering our flagship program for crisis services to all age groups.
Currently seeking a psychiatrist, board certified or board eligible to provide services in our Crisis Stabilization programs providing services to adults 18 and older. The candidate must be highly skilled in dealing with the chronically mentally ill, preferably has inpatient psychiatric experience and has a desire to work in a fast-paced environment providing services to a variety of voluntary and involuntary clients. This position offers malpractice insurance and a full benefit package for full time candidates.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Exodus Recovery’s vision, mission, goals, and strategic plan.
- Provides psychiatric care in a crisis stabilization unit performing a psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation and a risk assessment. Planning of discharge disposition- will be facilitated by unit staff SS team members.
- At his/her discretion, acts as liaison for the Crisis Stabilization unit to community groups and primary care providers.
- Assist with medical records compliance.
- Responsible for fostering growth and professional development of program staff, medical Staff and self by participating in informal and formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the program is located.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry or Board Eligible possessing the knowledge and skills comparable to an individual with Board Certification.
- Member of the medical staff.
- Experienced in inpatient psychiatric care, well developed skills in integrating individual treatment approaches in crisis stabilization, and good working relationships with attending physicians and other staff.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
- Current active clinical licensure: MD
Commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160.00 - $210.00 per hour
