Top Required Skills:

- Application Development Project Management (12 years)

- Agile experience (12 years)

- Previous work experience in government, insurance, accounting, case management, or work programs is required.

- Experience performing the Scrum Master role on an application development team required.

Nice to have skills:

- The successful candidate should be highly technically competent, a consistently high producer, a good communicator, and an overall team player

- Prior experience as a developer in a large IT shop

- Prior experience leading Microsoft full-stack development teams

- Managing multiple concurrent projects and project teams

Job Summary

This request is for an applications development project manager to lead staff in the development, maintenance and enhancement of applications pertaining to Unemployment Insurance in Wisconsin. These applications are supported on a .Net/Oracle platform. Project duties will be to work as part of a team to lead the development and maintenance of UI applications using .Net tools and techniques.

Role

The first projects assigned to this position will be technical project management of new UI projects in the areas of federal grants,

mandatory, strategic, and maintenance projects to existing UI systems.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with familiarity of State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards.

Client is currently allowing remote work from any of the contiguous states of the United States. The contractor will be required to be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must be available to attend all scheduled meetings during Client standard working hours of 7.45 am – 4.30 pm Central Time.Client can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
