SunPlus Data Group is looking for a Project Manager to work for a State Government facility in Richmond, VA.

This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend

Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week

Pay is $87/hr W2 hourly or $97/hr 1099 (CTC)

**(THIS POSITION IS HYBRID, THE INTERVIEW WILL BE CONDUCTED ONSITE MANDATORY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) **

**CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL OR WILLING TO RELOCATE**

It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, just so that you are aware of the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.

Job Summary:

The State of VA is seeking a Project Manager with documented experience. The Project Manager will

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to execute multiple projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, and within the scope and budget.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure performance using proper project management tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with identified partners
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Meet to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Identify appropriate parties for project tasks based on roles, strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop project plans to be shared with other directorates.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process map to document needs.
