Blue Iron Foundations & Shoring, LLC West Sacramento, CA 95691

Shoring/Drilling contractor looking for a full-time project engineer/EIT to assist with project management team. Company is based in Sacramento. Preferred 3 years experience in heavy civil construction including but not limited to ground improvements including tiebacks, soil nailing, micropiles, sheet pile, shoring, and bracing. Prefer Civil engineering degree EIT for this position.

Essential Functions and Conditions:

  • Comprehend plans and specifications for civil/complex projects.
  • Prepare Submittals, RFI's Change Orders, and Project Correspondence.
  • Coordinate schedule and communicate with team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors for specified materials, products and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Contractors and Clients.
  • Identifies project risk and solutions while tracking project performance and projections.
  • Attend project site pre-bid meetings and site tours.
  • Must know Blue beam and Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
