The Town of Ulysses seeks a project assistant to provide general administrative support for the Supervisor's, Planning/Zoning, and Building Codes Offices. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, familiarity with interacting with the public, and administrative support experience.

Responsibilities include interfacing with the public regarding scheduling of building code and planner/zoning officers; administrative assistance related to insurance, contracts, and building/zoning paperwork; updating the Town's website; digitizing documents; and general administrative support as needed.

Experience with Microsoft Office is necessary, and training on additional software is available. Ideal candidate should have a proven willingness to learn new skills.

Job is currently funded for 18 months at 20 hours/week. Employees will be eligible for a robust benefits package, and the opportunity to grow into a permanent position is possible.
