Position: Project Analyst
Location: Newport News, VA 23606 - No remote work

TTC seeks a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic and growing small business as a Project Analyst. In your role, you will support the implementation of TTC’s program management and business development across our diverse portfolio. You will manage awarded contracts and personnel, as well as support business intelligence gathering, contributing to capture efforts and various proposal task. Using your strong writing and editing skills, you will support TTC’s technical competencies, monthly reporting and past performance for new business development purposes.

This is an entry to mid-level position for the right candidate to build their program management expertise within the TTC organization. This individual will partner with TTC team members, each with their own geographical/agency portfolios, to meet the Company’s programmed and strategic growth objectives. The intent for this candidate is to support a diverse portfolio across the federal sector including but not limited to such agencies as the DOD, DHS, and DOT customers. The right candidate will have imagination, initiative, and be ready to tackle new projects with a winning attitude. This person will also possess the necessary desire and attitude to gain management and leadership skills to develop within a team of seasoned experts to expand the organization’s capabilities.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Gives support to and initiates appropriate project processes which ensure forward progress, highlight, and mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with stated project objectives.
  • Assists project leaders as they scan the business environment to identify potential issues that may impact the quality of services, interfere with the organization's ability to manage its risks, and/or create opportunities to address these issues more effectively.
  • Interacts effectively with senior leadership to articulate issues and propose potential solutions.
  • Research potential solutions and helps design and deliver projects that successfully address the issues identified.
  • Supports the program management processes of integration, scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, risk, and procurement.
  • Assists with project initiation, estimation, planning, requirements gathering, analysis and design, technical reviews, integration, implementation, operational turnover, and project closing.
  • Monitors project commitments, ensures development and approval of planning documents, reviews technical requirements, and determines resource allocations.
  • Recommends corrective actions, participates in the formal project change control process, and attends technical reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2 year’s work experience
  • Minimum of 2 year’s project and/or govt contracts experience
  • Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate within and across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to develop, document, and execute a plan for achieving project success
  • Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives and customers

Desired Skills

  • Prior Federal Civilian, Military, or contractor support experience (on task or at corporate level)
  • Knowledge of contract, contract modification, and contracting language
