We are seeking a Program Manager in supporting the United States Census Bureau (USCB)) in Suitland, Maryland.

The duties and skills of the Program Manager position include but are not limited to:
PM will perform and provide acquisition support services tasks such as:

  • Pre-Award Technical Support - New Requirements
  • Acquisition Planning and Market Research
  • Solicitation Development and Activities Preceding Receipt of Offers
  • Activities Succeeding Receipt of Offers
  • Post-Award Technical Support - Contract Administration
  • Acquisition Management Support Services
  • Contract Closeout Services
  • Purchase Card Management Support Services
  • COR Forum Support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related area
  • At least five (5) years of experience in the federal acquisition field.
  • Subject area expertise related to acquisition policies and regulations under the FAR, to include pre-award experience.
  • Have proven acquisition expertise and excellent writing skills and abilities
  • Possess skills and abilities necessary to manage this task order effectively and work in a team environment
  • Possess communication skills to support project operations that resulting in high quality work.
  • Knowledge of business and industry practices, sources of supply, cost factors, and requirements characteristics.
  • Preferred but not required:
  • Contract Specialist/Officer experience within a U.S. Government civilian agency.
  • current FAC C or DAWIA certification at level II or III
