Center For Family Services of Palm Beach County is seeking to hire a Director of Children's Services Council funded Programs. The Director of Children's Services Council (CSC) Services operates under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Programs. The position is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations and oversight of the Center for Family Services' CSC-funded programs. These programs include, but are not limited to, the following: Prenatal Plus Mental Health Services (PPMHS) program, the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), the Teen Positive Parenting Program (Teen Triple P), and the Counseling for Parents of Young Children (CPYC) program.


Hours vary but are primarily between the hours of Monday- Friday 8:30am-6pm, one late night (until 8:15pm) may be required per week. Weekend or additional evening hours may be required for specific activities or events. Position may require occasional local travel to partner locations.


Salary Range: $78,000-85,000


Employees are eligible for healthcare and other benefits no later than 30 days after hire; the Center provides multiple options for healthcare and other insurance, and funding sufficient to cover healthcare and, depending on options selected, additional insurance.


The Center provides 8 Paid Holidays as well as the week between Christmas Day through New Year's Eve; and additionally provides (on accrual basis) 3 PTO days, up to 9 days of sick leave, and initially 10 days of paid vacation for full-time employees. 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in behavioral science of related field of study obtained from an Accredited College or University
  • Professionally licensed in the state of Florida by the Department of Health as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or Clinical Psychologist
  • At least (5) years' experience in direct services for individuals, couples, families and groups; specifically, preferably with expertise in several of the following: family counseling, parenting psychoeducation, post-partum depression, substance misuse, mental health, child abuse and/or domestic violence
  • At least (5) years of supervisory and/or management experience, preferred
  • Prior experience working with CSC funded programs
  • Experience working with community systems and working cooperatively with multiple levels of staff and Board of Directors


Responsibilities:

  • Coach, support, and supervise all CSC Program Supervisors and clinical staff in accordance with agency and state and federal policies
  • Oversees hiring, onboarding, supervises, and is accountable for all staff that provide CSC Program services
  • Reviews client charts regularly and timely; and ensures program compliance with quality improvement, and record keeping standards
  • Monitors client satisfaction and handles client grievances in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Monitors service delivery including level and intensity of care to ensure compliance with agency policies
  • Trains and supervises CSC program supervisors on all new practices, policies, and procedures
  • Assures quality service by evaluating program effectiveness and compliance with specific funder requirements
  • Provides monthly and quarterly reviews, updates, and statistics as needed for PQI and other agency standards
  • Interacts as a community liaison with referral agencies and partner providers
  • Balance demand for service and staffing patterns to achieve the highest level of efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure that all required statistics and other reports are accurate, complete and submitted in a timely manner
  • Maintain beneficial and timely working relationships with sponsoring and advisory groups and other service agencies
  • Interface with the community, i.e., schools, civic clubs, health fairs, workshops, and promote a positive image of the agency by publicizing its activities and accomplishments
  • Oversee the development and implementation of professional outcome measurement processes and procedures that conform to acceptable standards for behavioral healthcare research
  • Ensure that organization meets CSC service level requirements and contractual obligations
  • Ensure that the organization meets requirements for accreditation and funding

The candidate must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinted through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and be able to legally work in the United States. Bilingual preferred.
