Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst for our Newport, RI office. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team. In this role, you will provide support to vital national defense programs by implementing a unique systems engineering process.
What You Will be Doing:
- Participate in all areas of project management and decision making to include coordination with the system engineering team, schedule tracking, and providing financial resourcing/budgeting, planning, and reporting support
- Collect, develop, analyze, and communicate information related to status using MS Project and MS Excel
- Work on interesting and challenging projects
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interface directly with DoD customers on-site and remotely
- Define and refine business and engineering processes using a highly unique program management process

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years relevant experience
OR 5 years of Program Management experience
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically MS Project and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strongly Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or technical discipline
- Highly proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Access
- Experience in a Quality Assurance role
- Experience with DoD contracting and financial systems
- Interested in developing creative improvements for existing processes
- Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
- Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
