Production Team Lead Job at Metropolis Coffee Company
Job Summary:
The Production Team Lead will plan, schedule, implement, and monitor day to day manufacturing activities in our coffee roastery, ensuring contract requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met. Primary areas of focus will include packaging and distribution of coffee products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assists with setting and overseeing work assignments, schedules, and work quality of the manufacturing team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews sales orders, and other project documents to understand requirements.
- Schedules and coordinates work with the appropriate staff to ensure that products are completed and distributed on time.
- Ensures work areas are maintained and all equipment is kept operational and sanitary
- Works with customer service department to resolve any issues or changes to orders
- Assists production team with packaging and shipping as needed
- Helps to maintain an organized and cleanly facility
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least two years of experience in a leadership position in manufacturing/production, warehouse management, or packaging.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds several times per day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
