Production Supervisor Estherville - (Corporate office located in Minnesota)

POSITION SUMMARY

Monitor production operations in our Estherville facility reporting updates to the corporate team & management in Minnesota. Ensure orders are completed according to daily requirements with products that meet required high-quality standards. Duties include monitoring productivity and employees. Working with HR to hire & manage staff, training employees. Organizing workflows, and analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes to ensure profitability standards and KPIs/ metrics are achieved. Managing facility, equipment, and tools,. Ensure all safety standards and requirements are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Establish daily٫ weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
  • Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity.
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
  • Perform verification of production output according to specifications.
  • Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
  • Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Provide continual leadership and guidance to team members to increase their effectiveness and establish good working relationships.
  • Conducts employee reviews in a timely manner.
  • Keep management informed of the status of production and promptly notify appropriate member(s) of management of issues impacting product safety product quality, or production.
  • Follow the planning and coordination of the Scheduler.
  • Investigate production delays and takes corrective action as necessary.
  • Promote an environment conducive to teamwork and line-driven accountability.
  • Maintain employee moral by executing onsite reward activities and incentive programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum education requirements-high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory and manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Experience supervising teams of up to 20 people.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
