About the Position:

New grads welcome! The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning and managing manufacturing schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity across all sites.

Essential Functions:

• Act on order releases, action, and exception messages from the system and other departments.
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.
• Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Answer termination or cancellation requests from sales.
• Interface with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales departments on material status and production planning issues.
• Advise stakeholders of delivery expectation deficiencies and report on overall lead times.
• Determine plant assignments for orders based upon lowest cost efficiency and capacity.
• Analyze and report on best supply routes.
• Complete training assigned by supervisor.
• Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering, other engineering, or other related field preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a production planning/scheduling function or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Able to sit for extended periods of time, walk, stand, climb, reach, grasp.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Must possess professional phone etiquette.
• Able to wear prescribed personal protective equipment and appropriate clothing.
• Occasionally work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment, including noise, extreme temperatures and humidity, odors, dust, etc.
• Effectively use a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and commonly used software to complete necessary functions assigned.
