The Production Planner II position is for timely release, schedule and maintenance of shop work orders and work center labor loading. This position will also include entry level quoting, bill of materials (BOM) development and part number logic.

What will you be doing for us?
Production Planning 50%

• Utilize system requirement reports to release schedule work orders

• Continuously communicates changes and updates to accommodate customer needs

• Responds timely to sales and shop floor requests

• Plan, release, and manage work orders for fabrication, cab racks.

• Takes on and effectively schedules for more complex products as skills develop.

ERP System Integrity 30%

• Manipulates the plan to fit short term and long term needs.

• Demonstrates basic understanding of ERP system functionality.

• Strong understanding of structures and routings for quoting.

Relationship Management 15%

• Sponsor effective communication between departments

• Communicates and maintains good working relationships with all internal staff

• Volunteers readily

Process Improvement 5%

• Suggest opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction

• Displays confidence in utilizing ERP system to improve job efficiency
