This position is located in our Columbia City building. Qualified candidates must have greater than 2 years of manufacturing experience and must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift, determined on a seniority basis. Pay starts at $20.85/hr with the ability to make up to $24.53/hr within the 1st year, and includes an additional $1.50/hr for those working shifts other than days.

This position you will be responsible for the preparation of raw materials to be melted into ingots and the overall operations of the equipment in the Melt Shop. You will ensure raw materials are properly weighed and mixed to be melted into an ingot and raw material mixture into press to make compacts. The Melt Shop Production welds compacts into electrodes to prepare for the melt process and operates the saw to crop and prepare primary ingots.
