Summary: Production Coordinator coordinates the efficient use of human resources, machines and other resources to meet and continuously improve upon safety, quality, delivery, cost, production and continuous improvement objectives in line with ConMet values and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates the efficient use of human resources, machinery, and other resources to meet and exceed production standards within the assigned area/shift.

Interfaces with other departments in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.

Monitors assigned area/shift performance. Investigates issues related to area underperformance, reviews and timely executes corrective actions to address the issues and reports results in accountability meetings.

Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product.

Provides verification of daily production and attendance records through daily reports.

Conducts production and safety meetings and provides training, guidance, and leadership, as needed, for all assigned area/shift personnel. Ensures that all required training is complete and effective.

Monitors and ensures that all assigned area/shift personnel complies with company policies and safety procedures and usage of required safety equipment. Elevates any unresolved issues to the area manager.

Monitors production equipment and reports failures to maintenance personnel.

Maintains awareness of the relevance and importance of activities and how each contributes to achieving quality objectives.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience:

Minimum three years of related leadership experience in high volume molding, finishing, shipping or similar production environment.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two year college degree preferred.

Typical Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Depending of production needs some days it will be required to work overtime or Saturdays.
