What you will do

In this vital role you will partner with the EPD (External Planning & Delivery) Business Team to advance and automate day-to-day planning and procurement to accelerate strategy and growth. You will also build long term roadmaps for the Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) and Sub-Con modules to onboard Direct Suppliers and CMO’s. Support designing and maintaining a vision for how technology can be leveraged to tackle critical business problems, understand the impact of technical solutions on business outcomes and ensure growing the value of investments made. You will own the collaboration and engagement with various partners and help in delivering standard methodology solutions based on business requirements.

As a Product Owner/ Business Analyst you will:

• Work directly with the supply chain business SMEs to understand, prioritize, and advise on application focus and rollout.

• Collaboration with SAP and Ariba platform team and Business leads for regular releases & SCC roadmap and strategy and measurably drives business KPI’s

• Drive continuous improvement in solution performance, reliability, compliance, and efficiency

• Mentor, establish and influence the usage of technical standard processes of SCC (/add on) & S/4 HANA across the Global Supply Chain organization

• Integration ownership between SCC systems (SAP, Ariba, Rapid Response & Big Data platforms)

• Conduct solution workshops with business partners and process stewards

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree 2 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Master’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associate degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Worked on large scale supply chain transformation/ SCC initiatives

• Maintain the highest ethical standards in performing the responsibilities to Amgen

• SAP Development, S/4 HANA, Expertise in SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), Non-SAP integrated components (e.g. Thompson, Reuters/OneSource, Tungsten, Process Runner, etc)

• Experience managing Contract Manufacturing Suppliers and Sub-contract model

• Excellent communicator who can write and speak about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences

• Consistent track record of taking initiative and working independently with minimal direction

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $136,678 - 161,267.
