Duties: The Product Engineer II for Modine Grenada LLC in Grenada, Mississippi will be responsible for designing and developing new products and supporting documentation based on project scope, market needs, and regulatory requirements for Applied Products or Industrial Products departments. Evaluate and design electromechanical products by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials. Perform finite element modeling and structural simulation for products. Interpret FEA results and recommend design changes/directions to meet product performance requirements. Interface with other Modine regions, CIS manufacturing locations, and/or customers to assure a smooth transition from one region to another with global product development. Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components. Support customer applications with heat transfer, energy and/or refrigeration cooler designs. Review approval and manufacturing drawing packages. Support other engineers and CAD designers with product development projects related to design and documentation as needed. Apply experience with CAD/CAE software applications, including MathCad, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, PDM and TeamCenter and programming proficiency with languages, including C#, VB.net, and VBA for applications. Up to 15% domestic and international travel within North America to other Modine locations and client sites.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus three years of mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing systems. Experience must include at least three years of experience with each of the following: (1) heat exchangers design, analysis and simulation; and (2) thermal management/HVAC. Position also requires one year of experience with CAD/CAE software applications, including MathCad, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, PDM and TeamCenter; and programming languages, including C#, VB.net, and VBA for applications.
