Milacron is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Mt. Orab, OH. As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed process routings, time standards, process improvements, and cost reduction projects as assigned.

What you’ll do:

• Participate on capital equipment teams to recommend, purchase, install and implement machine tools into production.
• Monitor progress on projects, resolves issues and expedites completion as required to support internal schedules.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing process routings in an ERP system.
• Set process time standards and product cost.
• Lead and/or participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Develop data collection and analysis for assigned products.
• Function as the liaison between Manufacturing Operations and the development teams.
• Perform in-process audits in manufacturing operations.
• Work with Quality and other departments as required developing quality plans for all assigned products
• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Requirements:

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or a combination of education and related work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role in the metal cutting industry.
• Background working knowledge of Lathes, Drills, Mills, Grinders, Heat Treat, Chrome Plating and Welding equipment.

Great to Haves:

• Experience working with an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with root cause quality issues that surface in a product manufacturing operation.
• Proficiency in the use of ERP systems, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced product-manufacturing environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
