Sigma Defense's Contracts organization is a trusted business partner managing customer relationships, negotiating agreements, supporting growth initiatives, and providing regulatory knowledge to our internal and external customers. We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our team, actively participating on proposal teams for new business opportunities and assuming the responsibility of preparing competitive and fully compliant cost/price proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, financial management business, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of government contracting experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Highly proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, but also proficient with the other parts of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), federal government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, etc.), government contract types (e.g., CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.).
  • Previous proposal support experience in writing the cost narrative portions of company prime contract offerings to the federal Government (preferably Department of Defense), and subcontractor proposals to prime contractors.
  • Exemplify a strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet crucial deadlines.
  • Capable of representing the organization as a primary point of contact on pricing matters with internal cross-functional teams (i.e., Contracts, Business Development, and Operations), subcontractors, and customers.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.

The successful candidate will perform the following essential job duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Develop detailed cost models for various federal contract types, including, but not limited to, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Fixed Price Level of Effort (FP-LOE).
  • Independently lead and support proposal activities including, but not limited to, analyze solicitations, write compliant and clear Cost/Price volumes, analyze lower tier subcontractor pricing, support color team reviews, prepare proposal conditions and assumptions, review proposal sections for accuracy and compliance, and identify business risk and recommend ways to mitigate such risks.
  • Research as needed to collect competitive intelligence for price-to-win (PTW) analysis and target rate analysis.
  • Ensure pricing is accurate and compliant with applicable solicitation requirements, company policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), especially the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements.
  • Demonstrate an extremely high level of flexibility to manage simultaneous, fast-turn proposal responses; and thrive in high-tempo environments, remaining calm in high-pressure situations, and maintain professionalism under stress.

Salary Range: $115,00 - $125,000 annually.
