Press and Injection Supervisor/Leader (FT) Job at NEXIEN Inc.
Our client is looking for a Press Supervisor/Leader and Injection Supervisor/Leader in a newly founded plant. The candidate must be able to work closely with the Production Manager and manage Press or Injection production lines.
Press Supervisor/Leader:
- Must know how to operate a press machine that cuts, shapes, and design materials.
- Must know how to troubleshoot machines for any malfunctions or irregularities, fixing machine parts so machine can be properly used.
- Reviewing the job orders to make right adjustments to the printing machine.
- Handling production of the printed materials, including printing and racking process to ensure it meets the specifications and is ready for schedule.
- Good communication, Leadership, time management, strong attention to detail.
- Up to a year of experience of Press operating.
- Experience of Supervisor .
- Good communication with Press manager, press leader, and coworkers.
- Must ensure material is ready for shipping to customer.
- Must know how to operate forklift.
Injection Supervisor/Leader:
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
- Coordinate production, sometimes monitoring multiple production lines at once.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
- Perform and/or assists in mold, insert and color changes on the line.
- Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Adjust operations, machines, and equipment as needed to correct quality and production issues.
- Perform tasks and responsibilities of any Utility position during slow periods and/or as needed.
- Monitor resin, material handling, and color systems for appropriate processing conditions.
- Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards.
- Perform minor adjustments and routine maintenance; assist as needed with preventative maintenance and major repair work.
- Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
- Verify material usage per standards.
- Train for new operators.
- Up to a year of experience of Injection operating.
- Experience of Supervisor.
- Good communication with Injection manager, Injection leader, and coworkers.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience.
- High School degree or higher.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
