Preppers/Maskers Job at Edwards Interiors, Inc.
Edwards Interiors is seeking a prepper/masker. The employee will play a vital role in the everyday finishing of sheet metal and machined parts for the aerospace industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mask parts using detailed blueprints for further processing.
- Sand, clean and hang parts for the paint department.
- Prepare parts as necessary for final inspection by unmasking and touching up.
- Be able to recognize processing issues, make repairs or alert supervisor.
- Keep flow of parts moving to insure on time deliveries, while adhering to safety policies.
- Keep an open communication with all departments.
Requirements
- Masking experience preferred but not a requirement.
- Ability to read blueprints or computer models a plus.
- Paint buffing is a bonus.
Physical Demands
- May be required to lift 50-75lbs, remain standing for several hours and will be required to wear a respirator when prepping.
