Praise and Worship Team Keyboardist Job at Word of Grace Christian Center, Inc.
Word of Grace Christian Center, Inc. LaGrange, GA 30240
1. Provide keyboard music and direct the Praise & Worship Team and Praise Choir(s) at the regular 10am Sunday morning and Sunday 5pm (Third Sunday of each month) evening service(s) and other services as directed, and shall select appropriate praise/worship and choral music for each service.
2. Provide keyboard and choral music for the following and other additional services during the year as requested: Children/Youth, Easter, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Revival, etc.
3. Be committed to excellence and responsible for the leadership, development and training of singers and musicians of each Praise & Worship Team and Choir (s).
4. Develop worship team and choirs of various ages by searching out and encouraging those in the Body with singing and musical gifts.
5. Rehearse once weekly (or as otherwise specified) with each of the teams or choirs.
6. Cooperate with the pastors and/or music committee in the area of general planning and leadership of the music program. He/she shall be directly responsible to Pastor Cowenda Jefferson.
7. Be responsible for the purchase (with approval) of all necessary music and music supplies and the hiring of instrumentalist (drummer, guitarists, horns, strings, percussionist, etc) and vocal soloists. Expenditures in this area shall not exceed the amount provided in the church budget.
8. Provide music for weddings and funeral services held within the church if available at the time of funeral, for an appropriate fee.
9. Shall have a 90 day probationary period for observance of spiritual Christian lifestyle, punctuality, dependability and creativity. It is expected within 90 days a Praise Choir will be established and performing.
10. Give notice of termination of service at least sixty (60) days in advance of termination.
11. Attend Bible Study and intercessory prayer meeting and/or other special or leadership meetings as directed for personal spiritual growth and maturity.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
