The Post Event Manager at John Paul Jones Arena is responsible for all administrative responsibilities for the Post Event Shift. To assure the cleanliness of the facility and ensure maximum service and quality standards are achieved.
Checks-in Post Event Staff and completes Post Event deployment sheets and assigns staff to assure proper coverage of facility. Checks time cards to assure accountability of all staff
.
Provide employee training and communicate company/client policies and procedures. Conduct walk-thru inspections of facility throughout length of shift to assure that work is being completed properly and within budgeted hours. Will assist with completion of work assignments as needed.
Conduct meetings with Team Leaders and employees. Make decisions as to when to release staff when work is completed. Inspects entire facility and completes checklist to assure all areas are properly cleaned. Respond to requests of the client.
Completes labor reports to assure all Post Event labor is accounted for and signs out temporary labor to assure proper completion of time sheets.
Responsible for human resources concerns during Post Event Shift and also assist Office Assistant and Site Manager with hiring, interviewing, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions and payroll concerns.
Maintains records for Post Event shift including sign-in/sign-out forms, equipment allocation, labor reports, time cards, inspection reports, team work schedules and safety reports.
Maintain equipment in good condition and properly returned to storage area at the end of the shift. Assures that supplies are properly maintained.
Assists Site Manager with daytime or project operations on non-events days.
