Summary

We are growing fast and looking for a POS Retail Support Technician to support our clients! The Level 1- POS Support Technician provides remote installation, repair and support services for Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, networks, and other services and solutions supported by Solugenix. Successfully manages identification and resolution of customer issues. Supports system implementation and engages customer and team members in completing projects on-time and on-budget. Actively participates as a key part of a growing team that is obsessed with quality, and customer service.

Hourly rate $15/hr-$16/hr dependent on technical troubleshooting experience exclusive to NCR/Aloha POS system with annual merit review and benefits like 401K and PTO.

Remote applicable in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or Wisconsin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities can include the following. However, other duties may be assigned.

• Remotely identify and resolve technical and operations issues for restaurants.
• Support the installation, configuration, testing and training for complete POS systems, and peripheral devices.
• Utilize company CRM system and input accurate and complete activity logs on a daily basis.
• Provide outstanding level of customer support.
• Assist in growing a high performing team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ Experience with POS software preferred.
• Willingness to learn
• Comfortable with network and high-level architecture.
• Associates degree in IT, certification from a technical trade school or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Team player able to effectively communicate with managers, co-workers and customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Type 35+ WPM
• MUST be fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Wired Internet connection (cable/broadband)- WIFI is not permitted or supported on the provided work equipment.
  • Internet Service Speed Minimum: 20 mbps download / 5 mbps upload
