Crescent is an alternative asset manager with over $38 billion of assets under management and over 200 employees as of September 30, 2022. We are headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in New York, Boston, Chicago, and London.

The Portfolio Analyst position is with Crescent’s business development company (BDC) team in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare portfolio-level reporting and risk analysis for both internal and external distribution, including investor presentations, board materials and credit facility reports
  • Maintain a database of portfolio company level information and perform ongoing and ad-hoc portfolio analysis
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance and optimization of credit facilities
  • Coordinate with Crescent investment and operations teams related to valuation process, financial information reconciliation and portfolio updates
  • Prepare allocation analysis across funding vehicles and ensure compliance with the governing documents of each vehicle
  • Assist with a wide variety of strategic projects and ad-hoc reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years of industry experience; public accounting, investment banking, data analytics and/or formal credit training preferred but not required
  • Advanced Excel, quantitative and modeling skills ability to conceptualize and learn complex financial data
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize multiple sources of information
  • Basic knowledge of loan terms and structures, credit documentation, and financial statement analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure
  • Adherence to strict reporting deadlines
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
  • Team player, strong work ethic and a diligent, responsible personality
